Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Happy's V2 ("we", "us") operates the Happy's V2 game, website, and store. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have. For any privacy question or request, contact happy@sadface.ink.
1. What we collect
Account information
- Username, email address, and a securely hashed password.
Gameplay data
- Races, results, vehicles, parts, in-game currency balances, in-game purchases and trades, chat messages, and support tickets.
Purchase information
- Order records, products purchased, and purchase dates. Our store is hosted on the SellAuth platform. We do not collect or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles card details directly under its own privacy policy.
Technical and anti-cheat data
- IP address, hardware identifiers, device and component information, client version, session identifiers, and information about software running alongside the game that our anti-cheat inspects to detect cheating tools.
2. Why we collect it
- To create and operate your account and run the game.
- To deliver purchases and keep records of transactions.
- To detect and prevent cheating, fraud, chargeback abuse, ban evasion, and unauthorised account access.
- To provide customer support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Our lawful bases, where applicable, are performance of a contract (running the game and delivering purchases), legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, fraud prevention), and legal obligation.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with:
- Our store platform (SellAuth), which hosts our storefront and processes orders on our behalf, under its own privacy policy.
- Payment providers (Stripe), to process purchases and disputes.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers who operate our servers.
- Law enforcement or regulators where legally required.
4. How long we keep it
Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and afterwards as needed for legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. Anti-cheat telemetry is kept only as long as needed for security review and is routinely deleted.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email happy@sadface.ink.
Note that we may retain limited records where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate interest in doing so, such as fraud prevention and ban enforcement.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including password hashing and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies
Our website and store may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality such as sessions and security.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date.
